Companies Distance Themselves from Chris Hannifin and DefendIT Services

As the allegations unravel we have sough to contact RSM, SiloTech Group, North South Consulting (NSCG), and DefendIT Services on multiple occasions to allow them to comment on the rumors surrounding Chris Hannifin but did not receive a response as of publishing. Despite multiple attempts, we have continually been met with a staunch silence.

Initially, we excused this collective silence as accidental, however as time has passed without any engagement or clarification from these companies it is clear that the silence is an intentional attempt to either feign ignorance or a calculated strategy to save face amid the allegations. For RSM, NSCG, and SiloTech Group, the allegations linking them directly or indirectly to Chris Hannifin have raised serious questions like what exactly are they hiding or if there are deeper layers of misconduct?

Hannifin is rumored to have systematically accumulated proprietary and sensitive data during his tenure at these companies and using this amassed information to establish a network of commercial and foreign state buyers. While the exact nature of data Hannifin’s amassed data is still unconfirmed, industry experts believe that Hannifin might have stollen critical internal processes, access points, confidential credentials, and personnel data. If confirmed, such a breach would have devastating implications for corporate confidentiality and national security.

In our efforts, we have asked every company involved questions regarding the security procedures that were in place while Hannifin was employed, as well as whether his actions raised any internal red flags or investigations after the rumors started to circulate. The time for evasive tactics has passed and as law enforcement close in on the case, it is essential these companies address their role in the Chris Hannifin case.
